Underwater Food Forests Research Project will study the potential of farming scallops, clams, abalone, and seaweed of the Northern California coast. We will research the viability of commercial seaweed farming as well as its effects to regenerate depleting salmon populations and locally sourced healthy foods.
The Regeneration of the Klamath project is intended to build a learning model to help Tribal and non-Tribal watershed residents on the types of jobs and skills needed for life after Klamath Dam Removal.
Initially, we would focus on scalable solutions to challenges around Klamath Dam Removal (i.e. environmental clean up strategies and watershed restoration practices). Topics included but are not limited to emerging tech, fish monitoring, watershed connectivity
Transportation has long been one of the notorious barriers to local market resilience and quality of life on the Rivers. To start, Watershed Regenerative Ventures is focusing on trail development and maintenance projects throughout the Yurok Indian Reservation however we intend to support various local roads, bridge, and emergency services projects.
Watershed Regenerative Ventures is committed to projects that will restore the ecological vitality of the Lower Klamath River. We will focus on water infrastructure, usage and policies.
Watershed Regenerative Ventures will support a diverse constellation of Decentralized Research Institutions (DRIs) & Design Labs will be maker spaces aimed at inspiring local community members and experts in developing pathways to solutions facing the regeneration of the Klamath Basin and those who depend on her.
The "IndigiSTREAM" project is the renovation of a 1987 Recreational Vehicle (RV) to a mobile production company focused on amplifying Indigenous-led regeneration projects and campaigns. For those not familiar, "STREAM" stands for "Sciences, Technologies, Research, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics" and will remain central to this project's development and implementation. Starting with podcasts, we plan to expand to establish one to three radio stations, television stations and motion pictures.
